Deborah Johns, Vice Chair Tea Party Express.Org, Endorses McIntyre for CD-17
Deborah Johns, Vice Chairman of the Tea Party Express http://www.teapartyexpress.org/home/ and Director, CombatVeteransForCongress , has endorsed Retired Army Colonel Dave McIntyre in the CD-17 Republican Primary election.
"I am looking nationwide for candidates who reflect conservative values, as well as former military personnel whose record of service shows they can be trusted to serve us -- and not themselves -- when elected. Dave McIntyre embodies all these qualities and more."
Johns came to national prominence as Vice Chairman of the Tea Party Express which stopped in Waco twice last fall, once on the way to Washington and once on the way home. Her powerful message has gained respect nationwide, as she continues to emphasize limited government, fiscal responsibility, and adherence to the Constitution.
Making it clear that she was speaking as an individual, and not on behalf of any Tea Party organization, Johns also commented: "Dave McIntyre understands the challenges we face, and is prepared to carry our banner from the day he is elected. I am sure many in our movement will support him for all the right reasons."
